Our In-Studio Portrait Sessions start at $500 and include the following:
An exclusive 1-2 hours of time (enough time to create your visual story). No other clients are in the studio during your session.
Decompression time at the beginning of the session (time for you and your pet(s) to let go of all your anxiety, give your pet time with the treat lady, and to allow for a little studio sniffing so your pet can get comfortable in the space).
I digital photo file (with standard retouching)
A phone consultation with Robyn/Stacy where we will:
discuss goals and inspiration
learn more about the personalities of you and your "family members" so that we can make sure our many backdrops, props, and accessories reflect your uniqueness
plan wardrobe, answer questions, and plan out other particulars
An unforgettable, magical experience!
What type of products do you offer and how much are they?
All of the photos taken can be purchased as gallery canvases, photo prints, or high resolution digital files. Our clients AVERAGE spend (not including the session cost) is around $1200 on products. We will work together to create a custom collection for you based on your photo selections.
Do you take credit cards or PayPal?
Yes! Payment is required at the time of booking.
How should I prepare for my shoot?
Please work on SIT & STAY with your dog(s). Reward their good work with lots of treats. Don’t worry if they don’t quite get it because we are prepared for that too!
What if my pet is anxious in unfamiliar places?
If you have medications for your pet for this, please give it to them for the shoot. Pets that are reactive to storms may react to the lights flashing during the shoot. There are also some good over-the-counter natural remedies you can discuss with your veterinarian. Our goal is to maintain a stress-free environment so we pad our time a bit to give your pets time to wander around the studio and smell things before we start photographing them 😊
What should I wear?
Solid bright/dark colored tops are best. Stay away from white/beige/muted tones. Sneakers & shorts are not the best choice for portraits. Structured fabrics work better versus silky fabrics. Accessories like chunky jewelry, hats, glasses, & scarves are fun but not necessary. Ladies, please wear a little more makeup than you normally would. Please visit Robyn’s Pinterest board for some wardrobe inspiration, too!
Do I need to bring accessories for my dog(s)?
If your pet is accustomed to wearing clothing or accessories (hats, goggles, bandannas, etc), then yes! If they are not, no. If they have a favorite toy, pillow, bed, skateboard, etc you are welcome to bring those if you would like to include them in the photos!
Do I need to bring treats?
We will have natural treats available, but feel free to bring their favorite treats/toys if you like, or, if they are on a special diet, bring something they are allowed to eat.
Can I bring my dog even though he has bit one or more people?
My dog isn’t a fan of other dogs. Will there be any other dogs there during my shoot?
No other dogs, or pets will be in the studio area during your session. We only let one appointment inside at a time, no lines, no lobbies. We are also careful to be on the look out for other clients in the parking lot prior to you leaving your appointment.
I don’t have a dog. Can I bring my cat/bunny/pig/bird?
If I can’t make it to my scheduled session, can I reschedule or get a refund?
Only if we have availability. Please email us ahead of time if this is the case.
Does my dog need to be on a leash before & after our appointment?
Yes! Safety first!
